may his face shine upon you

Numbers 6 : 24 – 26 ESV   The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

Dear moms and dads,

This blessing was first spoken from God to Moses. The Lord told Moses to tell his brother, the priest Aaron, and Aaron’s sons, to bless the people of Israel with the words above.

May this special blessing encourage your hearts today, also.

God sees all you hard work.

He sees how often you feel alone, misunderstood, and afraid.

He knows you’re exhausted but trying and wanting the very best for your children.

Look to our Heavenly Father everyday for all the strength, wisdom, and inspiration you need.

May he bless you and always hold you in his protective care.

May he be pleased with you – tender and forgiving.

May the Lord’s presence and his face shine upon you and fill you with life-giving, life-altering peace.

May God bless and keep you and I. Amen
